Gifted to the Charis Foundation in 2023 by Anna Wolfe and The Mandala Center, Charis Mandala Sanctuary cultivates an atmosphere of prolonged contemplative practice and interspiritual dialogue, providing a place of refuge in an increasingly hectic and fragile world.
‘Charis’
(pronounced ‘care-iss’) is the ancient Greek word for ‘grace,’ while ‘Mandala’ is Sanskrit for ‘circle,’ symbolizing wholeness, liberation, and awakening. Thus, Charis Mandala represents an interspiritual ‘Circle of Grace’—a place where spiritual depths mingle with wisdom and discernment, and diverse spiritual journeys take root in fertile soil.
